This beetle is one of the largest and most eye-catching in all of Europe, with a body and antlers that can grow up to 9cm. Despite its impressive appearance, its life as a beetle is short due to a lengthy development process for larvae and a short adult lifespan of only 3-8 weeks. As its habitat continues to decrease, the beetle's population is unfortunately declining and is now protected and considered highly endangered in Europe. Spotting one would be a truly lucky experience.

Please note: The texture and shape of the paper varies due to the manufacturing process and is unique for each sheet. There may be slight variations in size, intensity and color. Frame and decoration not included.

Welche Rahmengröße wähle ich für meine Linoldrucke aus?

Das hängt davon ab, ob du den Linoldruck mit oder ohne Passepartout rahmen willst. Hier meine Empfehlungen:

Größe Linoldruck Bilderrahmen ohne Passepartout Bilderrahmen mit Passepartout

A6 (10,5x14,8cm)

A6 (10,5x14,8cm) A5 (14,8x21cm)
A5 (14,8x21cm) A5 (14,8x21cm) A4 (21x29,7cm)
A4 (21x29,7cm) A4 (21x29,7cm) 30x40cm
A3 (29,7x42cm) 29,7x42cm 40x50cm

To ensure you can enjoy your print for as long as possible, here are a few care tips:

  • Avoid direct sunlight to preserve color and prevent pigment loss. Handmade papers may yellow slightly over time if exposed to excessive sunlight.
  • Protect the linocut from moisture damage by hanging it in a dry room. In the bathroom, for example, the linocut can start to curl over time.
  • It is best to use a high-quality frame with picture glass with high UV protection, as well as an acid-free and age-resistant back panel
